In Ethiopia, 222,320 movements were observed between January and December 2018. 60 per cent of the movements were of migrants moving intra-regionally (HoA), followed by movements along the Eastern Route (20%), Northern route (14%) and Southern Route (5%). In 2018, there were more movements out of Ethiopia than coming in.
