In September 2020, a total of 16,598 movements were observed at Flow Monitoring Points (FMPs). This represents a decrease of 46% in comparison with September 2019 when 30,982 movements were observed. Most FMPs recorded a decrease in movements between these two periods, though two FMPs at the Ethiopian border both reported increases (4% at Cabudwaaq and 15% at Harirad). 

Similarly to August 2020, incoming flows amounted to 66% of the total movements observed, and for 34% outgoing flows. Bossaso and Cabudwaaq FMPs recorded the highest incoming flows (26% and 19% of the total incoming flows respectively), which Bossaso and Dhobley recorded the highest umber of outgoing flows (37% and 25% of the total outgoing flows respectively).
