Niger and Nigeria were both the main countries of provenance (83% and 7%) and of destination (76% and 12%) of travellers. Nationals from Niger and Nigeria accounted for 92 per cent of all the migrants recorded at the FMPs. Seasonal migration (35% of the flows), Short-term movements (26%) and economic migration, including but not limited to long-term migration of more than six months (25%) were the primary types of movements observed.
