This document offers an analysis of 2,443 individual surveys carried out between January and December 2019 with travellers crossing five key Flow Monitoring Points (FMP) in Faya, Kalait, Rig-Rig, Sarh and Zouarké. Overall, 79 per cent of interviewees were men, 89 per cent were Chadian nationals and 64 per cent were married. Three per cent of surveyed travellers were minors aged between 14 and 17 and 1 per cent were aged 60 or older. In addition, 89 per cent intended to go or stay in Chad and 48 per cent were travelling for economic reasons.
