This dashboard provides an overview of mobility patterns occurring in Nigeria’s northern States of Kano and Sokoto in August 2017. Results show that the daily average number of individuals observed at the flow monitoring point (FMP) in Sokoto decreased by 3% compared to July.

This Abyei Cross Border Flow Monitoring Report highlights the movement trends of South Sudanese crossing from South Sudan or parts of Abyei into Sudan and vice versa over the period of January to June 2017.

This Cross Border Flow Monitoring Report highlights the movement trends of South Sudanese crossing from South Sudan into neighbouring countries throughout July 2017. There are now a total of 928,079 South Sudanese refugees in Uganda, 417,495 in Sudan, and 319,235 in Ethiopia respectively.  

In Round 11 DTM Libya’s Mobility Tracking identified 390,198 migrants. Migrants were identified in 99 baladiyas and 517 muhallas. 7% of migrants are minors.

Libya's Migrant Report Round 11 covers a period from June to July 2017. A total of 390,198 migrants were identified with main locations being Misrata (21%), Tripoli (15%), and Almargeb (10%).

This Flow Monitoring Point (FMP) was established in Diffra, in the northern part of Abyei.

Throughout July 2017, 595 in-coming individuals and 4,066 out-going individuals were recorded at Mali flow monitoring points (FMPs). Based on the observation of 6 FMPs, it was noticed that the vast majority of recorded migrants at FMPs were young men.

From 14 to 22 August 2017, arrivals were registered in the following Local Government Areas: Bama (20), Damboa (23), Dikwa (22), Gubio (20), Gwoza (738), Kaga (28), Konduga (13), Kukawa (48), Mafa (63), Monguno (42), Ngala (392), Madagali (1,511), and Shelleng (159).

During the reporting period 608 people were rescued and 2 bodies were retrieved. Thus far in 2017 13,148 people have been rescued. 

This report contains an overview of the flow monitoring activities which took place in Niger between January and July 2017. In July DTM identified 6,058 incoming migrants and 3,937 outgoing migrants accross all the monitored flow monitoring points in Niger.

584 undocumented Afghan individuals returned to Afghanistan through the Torkham border crossing whilst 265 individuals used the Chaman/Spin Boldak border crossing, bringing the total number of returns this week to 849 (144 families). This is an approximate 39% decrease as compared to last week.

The National Strategy on Myanmar Refugees and Undocumented Myanmar Nationals (UMN) formulated by the Government of Bangladesh highlights the fact that more than 300,000 Rohingyas have crossed the border and are living in Bangladesh.

There has been a continued trend of high number of exits over the past weeks. This week recorded 1,222 individuals exiting, comparable to the previous reporting week of 1,128 individuals.
