On 17 March 2021, a first joint pilot data collection exercise was conducted by IOM Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), together with the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs (SFA), to collect information on the number of migrants,2 asylum seekers present in the country.

Between November and December 2019, DTM field team conducted 354 valid surveys in two different locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, capturing journey experiences of newly arrived migrants and refugees.

This report contains findings of IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Flow Monitoring Surveys (FMS) conducted by IOM field staff between March and May 2018 in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Bihać, and Velika Kladuša. The total number of 277 surveys were conducted.
